SOCIAL DISPLACEMENT UNIT (SDU):
The SDU of the MPSD plans and
coordinates activities pertinent to
the empowerment and rehabilitation
of socially displaced persons. The
Unit currently provides direct social
work services to the client population
and ensures that the services and
programmes provided by treatment
and care centres are appropriate to the
needs of the socially displaced. The
following initiatives were undertaken
during the period October 2012 to
March 2013.
