Programme
To provide an enabling environment
that efficiently and effectively delivers to
civil society, programmes and services
that address poverty alleviation and
supports community development
Communities
During the period, the Community
Volunteer programme developed
innovative programmes and services
for
thirteen (13) community
organisations.
•
Community Enhancement and
Regeneration Programme
The programme aims to partner with
communities to create infrastructure
and facilities that will address basic
needs and improve social standards. It
also aims to provide a flexible response
to community enhancement and
human development targeting the poor
and needy.

benefited from the
programme.

Organisational Development
Programme
The aims of the programme are:
•
To strengthen and build capacity of
organisations via new technology
and information and other requisite
skills.
•
To develop coping mechanisms and
strategies in order to operate as
sustainable entities in a changing
environment.
A total of 30 persons: (10 male and
20 female) from six community
organisations
benefited from capacity
building programmes.
