Implementation of a number of initiatives designed to continue to build human and
institutional capacity was continued in Tobago in 2013, through an investment totaling $1.4
million for the continuation of the following projects:

Social rehabilitation services and social development programmes expended $3.8 million
in fiscal 2013.
62.
The building repairs, upgrade works and outfitting were completed for the drug
rehabilitation centre at Fort King George. The Probation Hostel in Mason Hall provided shelter
and stability for eight (8) children between the ages of twelve (12) and eighteen (18) for the
period under review.
63.
The Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Prevention Programme (ADAPP) provided educational
services to one thousand, two hundred and sixteen (1,216) persons of various groups and
community outreach to two thousand and eighty-four (2,084) persons.
