Temporary Food Card System
This system provides immediate food
relief to the extremely vulnerable by
bridging the gap between eligibility
determination and actual receipt of the
TT Card. The Temporary card is valid for
up to three months and is now made
available via the offices of Members
of Parliament. The main-People
Issues Resolution Coordinating Unit
(m-PIRCU) also supplies these cards to
victims of disasters and in emergency
situations. This ensures that persons
living in extreme poverty can enjoy
immediate relief.
