NITIATIVES
The Ministry proposes the establishment of a
HeritageRestorationFund.TheFundwill function
similar to the Green Fund, where a percentage
of tax would be levied from newly established
multinational businesses to create a Fund for
the restoration of historical and heritage sites in
Trinidad and Tobago. Alternatively, a percentage
of the revenues from the NLCB could be
allocated for the establishment of the Fund.
The following Box 6.IV outlines a list of the policy
measures to be developed by the Ministry within
the fiscal year 2013-2014.
