Although Tobago’s 2014 PSIP allocation of $494.3 million is higher than the 2013 PSIP
original allocation of $475.5, the investment is less than the 2013 revised expenditure of $575.8
million. The priority area of Crime and Law and Order received the only significant year on year
increase of allocation from $25 million in fiscal 2013 to $ 37.6 million in 2014. This represents a
20 percent or $12.6 million increase to be invested in the Police Service, Coast Guard, Defence
Force, and the Fire Service.

Agriculture and Food Security received a 2014 allocation of $28.6 million, an increase of
$0.3 million from the previous year. This allocation however, remains lower than the 2013
revised expenditure of $36.2 million and 0.2 percent decrease of total Tobago allocation from 6
percent in 2013 to 5.8 percent in 2014.

The Tobago 2014 PSIP is sourced entirely from domestic funds under General Revenues.
The Consolidated Fund will provide 100 percent of the THA financing. Other Government
Ministries will provide $52.6 million sourced from the Consolidated Fund and $78.6 million
sourced from the Infrastructure Development Fund.
