monuments relating to national heroes,
and buildings of interest’. In addition, poster
exhibitions have been mounted at the
National Museum and the National Archives;
• Implemented the Re-enactment of the
Arrival of Indian indentured labourers on
Nelson Island from the 25th May to the 27th
May, 2013;
• Hosted a National Flag Draw on Thursday
2nd May 2013 for a giveaway of 1,000 flags
to citizens. And also launched a National Flag
Infomercial, aimed at educating the citizens
on how to erect the flag in the home and the
protocol to be followed.
