on August 3, 2000 as a wholly owned State
Enterprise. The company is responsible for
maintaining vehicles of the Trinidad and Tobago

Police Service as well as those of other Ministries
and Government Agencies. In April 2005,
Government agreed to change the mandate of
VMCOTT from being a Maintenance Company to
a Fleet Management Company.
