The THA is also charged with the responsibility of maintaining the pristine nature of its
natural environment as it seeks to advance its economic development. The brand image of
Tobago as “Clean, Green Safe and Serene” must be maintained through a carefully crafted
strategy for sustainable development. The potential cost over the medium term to implement
such a strategy is still to be determined by the THA.
