In respect of betting levy board
operations:
• I propose to increase the license fee
from $100,000 to $200,000 payable
by all betting offices which negotiate
bets at fixed odds.
This measure will take effect from January 1,
2014.
will implement a number of measures
including increased penalties and fines. As
an initial measure:
• I propose to increase by 100.0 percent
all fines for littering with effect from
January 1, 2014 in accordance with
the provisions of the Litter Act and
pursuant to that, the fine for offences
in respect of individuals, would be
increased from $2,000 to $4,000 and
in respect of body corporates $4,000
to $8,000.
IX. In respect of developers for land and
houses:

developers to receive tax exemptions
